Partial store onboarding

Accept store upsert webhooks and finish pairing manually in Otter Developer Portal when you cannot register the external id immediately via API.

Before you begin

• Same webhook setup as Onboard a store

Steps

1. (Optional) Implement Fetch Store Credentials (stores.fetch_credentials) for custom credential schemas.
2. When Otter adds a store, Upsert Store (stores.upsert) fires — return 2xx to acknowledge.
3. Mark the store as waiting for manual onboarding in your systems if helpful.
4. An operator completes onboarding in Otter Developer Portal by supplying the external store id.

Verify

Acknowledge a test upsert; confirm the store appears in Otter Developer Portal and can be completed manually.
